Mrs. Asha is currently working as the Admission Head at Vemana Institute of Technology. Prior to taking this responsibility, she has worked as Sr. Admission Manager, Dean of Admission and many more responsible positions in different institutions across Karnataka.
Mrs. Asha has closely worked with leading Indian and Multinational organizations. At present along with her busy schedule she also actively engages with the industry through Management Development Programs.
Her 15 years of experience in reputed industries like The Taj group of Hotels, Accenture, IBM, Alliance University and Presidency University. She also has over a decade of experience in reputed Management Institutes in building thousands of students lives.
Mrs. Asha have started her career in education field with aim of helping the students to choose an appropriate career by guiding them through the current changing trends. It was her passion to spend her valuable experience in building tomorrow’s citizens of India.
Her main research interests include student career building, Counselling them for the right career in the education landscape.
Admission to first year B.E. course in Vemana Institute of Technology is available for candidates through CET/COMED-K and Management Quota as per the norms specified by Government of Karnataka and VTU from time to time.
Admission to the first year shall be open for the candidates who:
Have passed the Second year Pre-University Examination conducted by the Karnataka State Pre-University Board with Science Subjects.
10 + 2 of the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) / ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education)
Any other equivalent examination recognized by the University.
The candidate should have secured an aggregate of 45% with Physics & Mathematics as a Parth of the subjects, along with one of the following subjects:-
Chemistry
Biotechnology
Computer Science
Biology & Electronics
Eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC are 40% in optional subjects. The candidate must have had appeared and cleared English as one of the subjects.
Diploma or equivalent degree holders can apply for admission in the second year provided that they must have secured 50% in their final year examination. For SC/ST and OBC, the criteria are 45%, in case the candidate has secured less than the eligibility, must clear the bridge courses as specified by the Bangalore University.

Reporting time for all students is 8:30 AM
Attending regular classes is mandatory for all students beginning from the first day of the semester to the last day.
When on campus, ID cards are compulsory.
The following concerns must be informed to the HOD or college office without any delay:
Loss of ID card
Loss of Library Card
Change of address
Change of contact number
Mobile phones are prohibited in the campus, once confiscated will not be returned.
Smoking, chewing of pan masala / ghutka, consuming alcoholic drinks and drugs of any kind in the campus is strictly prohibited.
Strike or any such activities in the campus are prohibited and those caught involved in such activities will be severely punished.
Students shall take prior permission before availing leave and leave letters shall be countersigned by parents/guardians /hostel wardens.
Hostel students shall abide by the rules and regulations of the hostel.
Students are advised to park vehicles in the specified area and its mandatory to wear helmets while riding two-wheeler vehicles.
